If any newer Mac OSX users (Leopard/10.5 and newer PPC and Intel) are curious if they may have the "flashback" malware that's claimed to be on 1% of Macs out there, they can download this checker:
Update your OSX to the latest patches for Java for your version (or use OSX update) to prevent this Java malware.
It mines CC info and passwords, so it's always a good idea to keep your patches up to date, whatever your OS.
The Legend of Korra premiere (first two eps) is up for free on iTunes, in case you missed it streaming the other week.
My friend Karen Hallion is an artist who does awesome fannish work (like this Amy Pond Art Nouveau print) and frequently has designs for sale on TeeFury and the like. Today's TeeFury is her design: an Art Nouveau take on The Princess Bride. It's beautiful, and it's only $10! Go buy it!
You can also check out her Etsy site or follow her on Facebook and find out when she's got other shirts & artwork for sale.
My book, Solving the Climate Crisis, is now shipping from Barnes & Noble [link] Or ask your local library to put you on the waiting list. Or ask them to order via interlibrary loan if they don't have a copy.
My new kickstarter is in preview mode. Until it goes live donating is not possible, but feedback would be very welcome. [link]
