So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

F2F Update:

x-posted with Press

Folks, it isn't looking good so far. I know we've only had the survey up for a day, but we've had 35 responses so far, and these are the results:

Yes 6
Probably 5
There's a small chance 7
No 17

If there's any chance you may be able to attend, please take the survey. I would say if we don't have a total of 25 (?) yes/probably responses, we may need to do something small and informal this year (maybe at someone's house?). Either that or propose another weekend. Not sure. Open for suggestions, all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

There has been some discussion in the F2F thread about whether or not we should move the date of this year's F2F because of the fact that so few people seem to be able to attend on the previously picked date.

Please take this survey if you have an interest in attending this year's F2F.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I have an extra pass to see the film Drones 10:30pm tonight at the Somerville Theater. It was directed by Adam Busch & Amber Benson and stars Jonathan Woodward. Email me if you're interested (profile addy is good).

Coding and Sleeping

I updated the Chapter 1 Evolution page on my blog.

I Play a Writer Chapter 1 Evolution

It's been a long time since the last update of that page since I had to revise all the other chapters first. Also, I don't know the origin of the second comment, but it obviously wasn't spam so it got approved.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Not sure where this should go, but I recorded the Tennant/Stewart Hamlet on PBS's Great Performances tonight, so check local listings. I'll x-post in Boxed Set, I guess.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

One of my adoption lists just posted a job opening in Evanston, IL for a fundraiser. The organization is The Cradle. Their website is cradle.org.

And I posted in Natter previously, but Netflix has several positions listed on their website in various locations.
