I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

One of my adoption lists just posted a job opening in Evanston, IL for a fundraiser. The organization is The Cradle. Their website is cradle.org.

And I posted in Natter previously, but Netflix has several positions listed on their website in various locations.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Okay, this is a sort of odd thing to post, but here goes. I spent two years teaching health ed to teenagers so I'm pretty passionate about that issue. Via the latest post on Tiger Beatdown (caution: frank discussion of sex) which I think is awesome and hilarious and interesting, someone in the comments posted a link to this pdf written about virginity myths and such.

I know many of my beloved Buffistas have teenage kids, or niecephews, or friends, and so I thought this might be a useful resource. Heck, I learned a few things.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My second book, Sam, sold to Plus One Publishing this morning.

Perhaps of interest to many of our fic authors, I give my take on the Diana Gabaldon fan fic kerfluffle on the MTV Books blog.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We just got final word that our episode of Hammer Heads airs on Saturday, June 26 on HGTV. Woo Hoo! It is on in the early morning, so check your local listings for the exact time. If you want to see our front yard transformed from a blighted landscape of doom to the Coolest Place Ever, set those TiVos, people!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Something I've produced as part of my coalition work - a climate bill that would work as opposed to the disaster that is Lieberman-Kerry.

The link is to a short description that in turn links to a large downloadable document.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Some of you know that DH works for Team Vandy-1. Earlier this year they signed an exclusive deal with the Wounded Warrior Project to be their presence at North American airshows. The first media/sponsor day was yesterday in Frederick MD, and it was a terrific success. The injured service men and women all were taken on rides in the flagship L-39 Albatross jet, a P-51D Mustang ("Glamorous Gal"), and two Paris jets from Team MS-760. Lots of high-speed maneuvers and formation work, and every last one of them didn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. The plan is to do this at 10-15 airshows this year.

Unfortunately, this all costs money, so they are searching for sponsors. Thanks to the hard work of a lot of people, the Vandy-1/WWP event yesterday drew national media attention. Please watch ABC World News This Weekend on Saturday, May 15th for a two-minute piece showcasing the wounded warriors and the Team Vandy-1 mission. Then go to abcnews.go.com and click on the story and video. The more views it gets, the more likely ABC News is to provide ongoing coverage, which is obviously valuable for attracting potential sponsors.

NPR also covered yesterday's event. Please listen to Weekend Edition Saturday on Saturday morning, May 15th. Scott Simon went up in one of the MS-760 jets and did the entire story in the air.

I haven't seen DH so excited about his work in a long time. This is a non-partisan effort, and all energy is focused on the plight of the wounded warriors, who deserve every opportunity to reach their goals. Please help boost the signal by tweeting and posting the media info in your other online homes.

For additional coverage and some great pics of yesterday's event, please see the following link: [link]

Thank you in advance for spreading the word.
