Attention Secret Santas! Give the gift of Buffistadom this year at our very own Cafepress stores!
[edit: So it seems that Cafepress no longer supports megalinks with multiple stores in them. Those bastards! Here are links to some of our individual stores:

Happy shopping!
DebacleCon II is coming up fast. Deborah Grabien will be in Cleveland, Ohio December 13thish through the 16thish. She'll be talking about ghosts, mysteries, and music at Noble Neighborhood Library in Cleveland Heights on the 13th at 7:00 p.m. and reading and signing at the Hybrid Gallery on Tremont in Cleveland on the 15th at 8:00. My digital art will be on the walls.
E-mail me or post in the F2F thread, or whatever is convenient for you if you'd like to come or want to know more.

Slacker Secret Santas!
You've slacked up until the last day, which is today. If you don't send me any info by midnight, board time, you won't be able to play this year and will have to wait for a whole year in order to be able to join the fun, and, oh, my goodness, I'm turning Santa into a Jewish mommy, so I'll stop now.
Slacker Secret Santas: all of you who e-mailed me should have an e-mail with a giftee name and snail-mail address. Please let me know if there's any problem. Thanks for playing!
Not-so-tiny Jewish not-Santa.
Hey there Boston-area writers' strike supporters:
on Friday, writers and fans -- which means, I guess, that you're invited -- are planning a solidarity march from noon to 3, beginning at the First Parish Unitarian Church at 3 Church Street in Cambridge. On tap to speak: Joss Whedon, ("Buffy"/"Firefly" creator and god to fanboys and fangirls throughout the land: Rob Kutner, writer for "The Daily Show;" and Jaime Paglia, co-creator of "Eureka" on SciFi.

There are some familiar faces.
The Eclectic Word ends the year with a conversation with two of The November 3rd Club's editors: Fiction editor and poet Lenore Weiss and contributing editor and novelist Deborah Grabien. And then, to make it even more exciting, we'll be joined by some of the contributors, reading from their work: James Nave, Madeline Artenberg, Sherman Pearl, Jason Jonkers and Kirpal Gordon.
All in all, sounds like a fun way to end the year.
All of this and more at 7 p.m. EST, Friday Dec. 21st, on The Eclectic Word.
I just posted the list for the Holiday edition scavenger hunt over at Scavenger Click. [link]
Come, join us! It'll be fun!
