If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

x-post from bureaucracy:

Totally-unofficial-just-because poll on the upcoming tv season.

I split things up by day just to shorten the questions, and tried to axe anything that already has an established home. I also didn't split up comedy or drama in any way. Spoiler (not spoilery) questions at the end are combined because I'm a cheapskate and only get ten questions. Click Here to take survey

2nd link since some people were having trouble with the first: Click Here to take survey

(Asterisks mean it's a new show - take your best guess on those.)

After an extended writing vacation, a new essay is up on my site:"What I Did This Summer." This one deals with the myth of the perfect summer, all the things we intend to do but don't quite manage, and those anxiety-fraught essays elementary teachers used to make us write.

If you have any teacher friends/family, please share this link! I'm back to posting regularly now that school's starting up again. Check back soon for next week's essay: "Oh Crap! I Forgot How to Teach!"

As always, if you know anyone who would like to be added to the mailing list, just send me their email.

My new class - my "three more classes to go" class - has me seeking a couple of moments of your time. My first assignment is to compile a statistical survey of internet usage.

This seemed like the logical place to ask for test subjects (mwah-ha-ha). Please Click Here to take survey. There are a mere 10 EASY questions.

I am crossposting this to lj and a bunch of my work buddies.

THANK YOU for your help with this!!!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

All you job-seekers, please be careful of online job sites [link] Monster, and possibly other sites, has been under attack by massive phishing.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I'm the Guild of Outsider Writers' featured poet at the moment. Do please go have a look. They've got my poems "That Left Turn At Albuquerque," "Koan" and "15 Ways to Leave Your Labyrinth" posted.

Terribly, terribly excited.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Request to the NYCistas on behalf of a friend of mine: Could anyone recommend a good psychiatrist who is good at helping people figure out the right ADs and who can help w/ OCD? Someone who is good at drawing people out?

She's in Brooklyn, but is willing to go to another borough to work with the right person. Her current doctor is beyond incompetent.

Profile addy is good.
