To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I hate pay for play, but I need to take a straw poll...

If Lea or I were to read with Jim Carroll and the Catholic Boys, would people buy tickets for $11?

Let me know at victor@quantumredhead.com.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Chicagoistas and people in the area, I am going to be in the area in a couple of weeks, and hope to see a whole bunch of you while I am there, especially at a dinner on March 21st.

Discussion is happening in the F2F thread.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Hear Ye Hear Ye

There is a proposal on the board up for discussion and then voting.

PROPOSED: that we close the existing Buffy and Angel threads, and open a new combined thread. The name of this combined thread will be "Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!"

[I'm happy to leave the title out of the proposal, but with the Buffy Thread closed, I figured I'd expedite things]

Discussion starts here: ita "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" Dec 22, 2004 2:41:07 pm PST

brillig

Free to good home: the five books in the Mallorean series by David Eddings: Book 1: Guardians of the West, Book 2: King of the Murgos, Book 3: Demon Lord of Karanda, Book 4: Sorceress of Darshiva, Book 5: The Seeress of Kell. They're used, a little dinged, but quite serviceable. I need the space on the bookshelves.

Profile addy good.

Edit: they're paperbacks.
