Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Maya and I have a book release party coming up this January in Tampa, called Target: Tampa.

The weekend will include some workshops for writers, readings, and signings featuring Suzanne Brockmann and other writers.

Ms. Brockmann's new book, Hot Target will be released at the end of December.

Hello all from the land of lurking...

I'm doing some freelance design for a company called SITRAS (www.sitras.com) and he asked if I could recommend anybody to work on a database driven web site for them.

If anybody's interested, please email me at carlaviii at yahoo dot com.

Punishingly Intricate

Could I get "rock his socks" off vibes please? The owner of a local record label is going to listen to a couple of my band's songs in about an hour to see if he wants to "represent" us (I think that means help us distribute our record. I'm brand spankin' new at this record making game). We have other options if he doesn't want us but I really, really want him to like us.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Laistas! Here are the final plans for Billytea in Los Angeles!

Saturday the 27th, we will be having dinner at 7:30 (note the different time) C&O Trattoria at 31 Washington Boulevard, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292, at the Venice Pier. Sparky1 and her DH will also be there (Yay!)

Sunday is brunch at my place, at 11:30 or whenever people get here.

Let me know by Friday the 26th if you can make it, and if need directions.
