Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Come celebrate our wedding!

If you will be around WorldCon on Saturday night, G and I are co-hosting a little celebration in honor of our marriage. E-mail me at my profile address for details.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

NYCistas and temporary NYCistas who are not going to De La Guarda Saturday night, my apartment will be open for DVD watching. Email my profile addy for directions, and let me know if there's anything you can't/won't eat, in case I decide to cook.

Timing is super-casual, just let me know roughly what time you'd like to show up.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

On behalf of Ellen S., and her beloved digital camera, Senor Snappy, here are pictures from the Monday night Somervillista gathering. They're all, arty and stuff.

PART-AY!

Compassionately intolerant

Xpost from F2F

I considered administering a revitalized DCista list but wonder how much interest there would be in using one.

I guess I should make that a question, eh?

DCistas

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Here are some more photos from Nillyfest Somerville. Jon took most of them with my camera.

Also, way late, but there are also photos from Nora's birthday party last year.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Bay Area Buffistas - I know it is late notice, but I have 4 tickets for Saturday nights 6:05pm A's vs Devilrays game. There will be fireworks after the game. These are field level seats, row 13 behind the bullpen.

If you are interested, please send a note to my profile addy as soon as possible. Not looking for money - just want to make sure the tickets get used.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Just a note: Thessaly and I are two of the three Jacob Knight Award for Poetry winners this year.

Evidently, they called Lea first and were surprised to get her again when they called back for me. I'll bet it was Hi-LARIOUS.

The other Jacob Knight Awards are given for visual arts. It's a pretty big deal. There'll be some sort of awards thang in October. More info to come.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Some pictures from the NYCistas visit with Nilly.

The earlier pictures are all from Jessica and Ethan's place, where we watched The Apple, which answers the question, "What would happen if someone made a parody of Rocky Horror?"

Wow. I've included a couple of key Apple moments in some of the captions.
