The radio station for which I volunteer is having their annual Fundraiser. Last year we raised $75,000. I personally raised almost $4,400 of that during my 2 hour Friday morning shift. This year, we'd like to match those numbers.

ATTN: New England Buffistas, especially those near Boston
You know, it just dawned on me that I don't remember seeing this mentioned here. Nick Brendon will be at the Bayside Expo Center this coming Sunday at the Hobby Star Convention. The convention runs from Friday night through Sunday, but Nick will only be appearing on Sunday.

Just to supplement Cindy's announcement a bit, Anthony Simcoe and Gigi Edgely will also be at the show, along with Michael Dorn and Nichelle Nichols.
If any other NYCistas want to join us & maybe meet up for dinner beforehand, DH and I will be seeing HPCoS tomorrow night at Kips Bay at 10:15.
The Leonid meteor shower is Mon-Tues. Nov. 18-19. Good viewing from about 11 PM to dawn. The shower may produce meteors upwards of 5,000/hour. If you can find someplace away from city lights, where you can keep warm & lie down/rest your head, it should be great. Last year's was amazing.

event.
Friday night drinks and slounging with Suela and Shrift at the lovely Blue Room in Burbank, 8 pm. Most of you should know how to find the place this time. No guarantee of splits on the sidewalk.
Sunday brunch at Roscoe's in Pasadena, 10:30-ish. As in we'll probably pick up Consuela at 10:30 in Burbank and be at Roscoe's by 10:50 or so.
