On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Attention Pacific Northwest Area Buffistas and the Lurkers Who Support Me in E-mail: should any of you be interested in gathering for a Wonderfalls Premiere Party on 12, March, 2004, I'm interested in throwing one. House needs cleaning, and a party's as good an excuse as any.

Profile address, she's good. Details to follow should anyone be interested.

Angel episode 407 - "Apocalypse, Nowish" is now available in HTML.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I got the following email which was sent out by Wonderfalls Exec Producer, Todd Holland. If you have a large email list (Friendster, MySpace, Livejournal) and care to post it, it would help muchly with getting numbers up for the premiere.

Okay, I hate mass emails and I hate forwarded mass emails even more. But think of this as a grassroots campaign in the struggle to support smart, funny, original television.

WONDERFALLS is a great show launching in a challenging time slot: Fridays @ 9:00 pm.

Please -- if you can find it in your heart -- forward this email to everyone you know — and ask them to do the same. And then tune in Friday nights!

Pretty graphic

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

Almost simultaneously with Allyson posting the above email, I posted some Wonderfalls icons on my LJ, so if anyone wants to snag some icons to help promote WF, they're available here.

Our wings are not tired.

Finally I put up my pictures from the W&H gala. Captions are designed for the family and friends of mine that have no knowledge of the cast and/or crew of our shows. They do for reasons of love or blood accept my addictions.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Attention Chicagoland Buffistas - my friend Miriam B (she used to post in the Buffy threads back in the Table Talk days) is hosting a small Wonderfalls premiere party on Friday, March 12, 2004. I will be a two-way conduit of info, so email me at my profile address if interested.

EDIT: Miriam lives in Wicker Park, a block from the Blue Line.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

On April 18th, DH and I will be walking for MS. Our fundraising goal is $300. If anyone would like to make a donation, click here. If any NYCistas would like to walk with us, click here to join our team. We will be walking the 7.5 mile circuit.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Any Bay Areaistes/istas want to come eat and watch the Wonderfalls premiere? I'm going to cook, and crack some bubbly, and feed people, and watch.

If you want to come along, e-mail is good, as are suggestions on what you'd like to eat (poached salmon? pasta?). And remember - it's a Friday, so the having to be up early isn't nearly the problem it could be.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I know this is probably in vain since no Buffistas live anywhere near me, but if you happen to be travelling through the Southland and are within driving distance of Jonesboro Arkansas on March 12, I'm welcoming friends over to my apartment for the Wonderfalls premiere. I'll have chips, dip, wine, cheese, and maybe sushi if enough people seem interested. E-mail my profile address if you'd like to attend.
