Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Speaking of getting off our asses:

We're this close to settling on a date for the F2F. If you haven't voted yet, and you have strong feelings one way or another, what are you waiting for? We're closing the poll at midnight tonight (eastern). Think of it as practice for tomorrow.

Our wings are not tired.

Informal LA F2F Registration Form

We will have a real date tomorrow so it's time to get some registration info accumulated. The form is intended to gather information for number and types of rooms needed, contact info and matching roommates. That kind of thing.

Please put stuff in the comments field about suggested links and so forth since this is a work-in-progress. As I mentioned in the F2F thread feel free to mock my form or offer suggestions because it was chopped together quickly.

Filling the form is not a commitment to attend, but a start at getting numbers for planners to use to scope out hotels and such. Yay!

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Evidently, I'm going to be on The New England Cable News at 5:30 p.m.tonight throughout Mass., Conn. and New Hampshire for a story on the Worcester InCity Times. I'm pretty sure I don't even sound crazy!

In Worcester, it'll be rebroadcast at 6:30 and throughout the night on (I think) Channel 3.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I need the help of a kindly Canadian Buffista to purchase and mail some tea (which USED to be sold in the US, but oh no, not anymore). If you are a kindly Canadian Buffista and don't mind going to the grocery store & mailing off a package (I'll pay for the tea/shipping, of course), please oh please send me a message via the profile addy.

(edit - thanks folks! Tea is on the way to meeeee!)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Anyone want a copy of the OMWF soundtrack? DH picked up an extra one at work, and we'll send it to the first person to email me at creepyturtle@att.net.

[edit: Amych wins!]

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm working on a banner advertising project for Save Farscape, and I'm trying to scare up URLs of places that sell banner advertising cheaply, and have high traffic, and aren't directly related to Farscape -- sites that are oriented toward people like us, the fannish, the geeky, the proud. (Places like Gothic.net, BuffyGuide.com, TWoP, Blogger, etc.)

Bonus points if you can come up with sites that will give us discounted or free advertising. t g

If you have any ideas, please e-mail me.
