Hi ya'll. I wanted to let you know that all my digital pictures from Roma are up online, for you to peruse. If you want to know what anything is, lemme know--with the sheer number of pictures there are, I didn't have the time or energy to label them. But I'd love to talk about them and tell you about Italy, if you like.

Ciao!
So what if I haven't met the love of my life yet? I still have something to do on Valentine's Day. If you're in or near Baltimore, come see my band, Secret Crush Society, and you will too!
WHAT: A Valentine’s Day rock show and extravaganza, featuring three bands, romantic Tarot readings, a heart-shaped piñata filled with sweet surprises, valentine exchanges, and a signature Secret Crush drink guaranteed to get you ready to start seeing Cupid.
WHEN: Saturday, February 14. Doors open at 9 p.m.
WHERE: The Mojo Room & Lounge, 4825 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD (Mojo Room)
WHO: Vestal Vermin, Secret Crush Society, and The Last Ditch
WHY: What, did you have plans? Plus, there’ll be enough romance for googly-eyed couples, enough tongue-in-cheek humor for the happily single, and enough of the crazy-making rock to give the unhappily single a chance to get happy, one way or the other.
Nevermind, but check here later for more details about the Laistas list.

V-Day Doesn't Stop on Valentine's Day
First off, thank you to everyone who came out for the V-Day Worcester production of The Vagina Monologues. The show was a powerful and incredible testament Central Massachusetts' determination to support organizations such as Abby's House, The Rape Crisis Center of Central Massachusetts and the Jane Fund.
Moreover, the show was an awe-inspiring demonstration of what can happen when women's voices, especially those too long muffled, are allowed to be heard.
But it doesn't and can't stop there.
The V-Day event raised a substantial amount of money for our beneficiaries, despite a hefty price for the venue, but it's not a drop in the bucket compared to what's actually needed to put an end to violence against women. The Rape Crisis Center is still facing the shut down of 13 out of 18 facilities, and even on the morning after V-Day, The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reported that the Worcester Police Department responds to more than 3,000 domestic abuse calls a year. That's just in Worcester.
To continue the battle against rape and domestic violence, we implore you to continue making donations, all of which will go to our beneficiaries.
Violence against women isn't a cause you fight once a year. It's an ongoing battle, and it'll keep going, unless we all stand together to put an end to it.
