Average everyday sane/psycho supergoddess

I quit my job. Yesterday.

Do I have a new one? No.

Am I crazy? Quite possibly.

So, either (a) I will be even more dark than usually till Oct. 18th (my Jopacalypse) or (b) I'll be on all the time until Oct. 18th.

Time will tell.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

My mail at greenchick.net has been wonky and bouncy in the extreme lately, so I've changed my profile addy until I get things straightened out. If you've tried to reach me and failed in the last few days, try again at the new address -- and accept my apologies.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Quick request for vibes--I just had an impromptu phone interview with one of the group of five I interviewed with on Tuesday. She seemed to want to make sure that a person as well-organized as myself would work well in a somewhat chaotic environment, and gave a specific example of a time where a previous occupant of a similar position hadn't been. The previous person sounded pretty damn unprofessional, IMO. I didn't say that exactly, but made it clear that I would've handled it differently.

I have to rush off to an afternoon class. Vibe me. Vibe me hard.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Brother appears to have decided to break things off with his FF/daughter's mother. I've no idea when or why or how this decision was reached. As is typical, I learn these things after the fact.

She (FFF) gets to keep my parents, I think. If I understood his email correctly.

I get the joy of being the one who gets to hear all my brother's confessions/venting/etc.

In the event that I am cranky, or weirder than normal, I apologize. I'm just sick of people splitting up, and worried that my niece will end up living in North Dakota, far from me. She means the world to me, that little girl, and I don't want to lose her.

Somervillains (and other Boston area folk) - I'm hosting an Angel Premier party this Sunday, starting at 7:30 (or earlier if people want --- I'm easy). Featuring special guest star Hecubus! If you didn't already get an email from me, write to the profile address and I'll forward details.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I forgot to mention it, but this past Sunday at 4am, my cousin's wife gave birth to her baby, the much-expected Alyssa. (Much expected because my cousin was sure she'd be born the first week of September, and because labor finally got induced Saturday noon and 16 hours is plenty. And because she was named about 5 months before she was born. They framed the sonogram pictures, too!)

So now I am a cousin-aunt, and the first of my generation of kin have reproduced. I am pleased and all involved are healthy and lacking no toes.
