Wow. I forgot what it was like to get good news.
Dear Kim and David:
I'm very pleased to inform you that our Editorial Board has approved my offering you a contract for the SCRAM GUIDE. You'll also be pleased to hear that no one liked THE GREATEST RECORDS YOU NEVER HEARD title, so we're back to the drawing board. We're going to discuss some further titles here, but if you have any favorites of the many that have been suggested, let me know.
Ok, so MM has a possible production thing*** in the works. It's all dependent upon a guy. PLEASE PLEASE send jobma and good vobes. This could be IT. Candles, paryers, vibes - anything postive appreciated.

I got "The Call"
The theater where I train has a touring company, auditions for which are by invitation. Last week when the calls went out I didn't receive one and I was really ok with it-- I haven't been able to attend student jams for the better part of a year, I'm decidedly rusty.
Well, I guess a spot opened up 'cause now I'm on the list.
Most people audition two or three times before they make the comany-- this is a just about impossibly long shot. The thrill is that I get a shot.
This is a banner day-- no puppy cancer and a bit of validation for my artistic lifechoice.
In celebration of me not getting the cool apartment, which means I don't have to save my $ for a deposit, I am throwing a party and spending the extra cash on beer and burgers. LAistas and tourists invited. LAistas will get a proper invite on the list. Tourists should contact me directly for love and particulars.
My father's surgery went well this morning. He should be able to come home tomorrow.
I haven't gotten my grade yet but I'm finished with the first section of my school work! Classes are set up work at your own pace, so the books could have take the full quarter, I finished in 4 weeks.
Dickinson College deferred me. Argh.
I'm going to get a CT scan on my appendix -- might have to have it removed. Good appendix vibes requested.
