A bit of dental~ma this afternoon would be appreciated. Last week my dentist declared one of my teeth to be unsalvageable, and it's going to be taken out this afternoon.
I brush twice a day. I floss. I have my teeth cleaned twice a year. I've done that all my life and yet my teeth are riddled like Swiss cheese.
Sigh. At least I have no dental fear.
I know that I too haven't been around much lately, for lots of different reasons (though I should be able to start poking my head back into threads soon), but if I could get some Choose Me~Ma, I'd appreaciate it.
I've sent in an 800 word query for an open call to write a D&D module for one of the top publishing companies in the business. I think I sent in a really great query, but I'm sure I've got some stiff competition. I'll find out if I'm in the top ten finalists by October 15th.
Thanks, all! Miss you guys lots!
Requesting kitty -ma. Rocky got out this morning and we don't know where he is. Our relationship isn't perfect, but for the most part he's a good cat, and I hope he's not roadkill. Thanks.
I wanted to formally thank all of you who chipped in to the very very generous check for Grace and Noah. While I would love to spend it on a very flashy and ridiculously expensive bugaboo cameleon stroller I have resisted and instead am using it for day care.
Thank you for your warm thoughts and your undeniable generosity.
Some ~~ma please - Joe lost his job.
Oh, crap, Aimee. Have my sister's job-ma back - she got the promotion she'd been slaving for. (Thanks for the -ma, folks!)
Freeing some of the health~ma back into the wilds. Mom is HOME. Her blood levels are within normal which means no more dialysis. The transplant is acting exactly as it should. Just working on post-surgery healing and all is good.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Buffista~ma is a wonderful thing.
Looks like we're moving to Wisconsin. We'll be BADGERS.
DH's offer was too good to refuse. He's supposed to start in five weeks so I'll be temporarily insane what with the moving and the packing and the selling of the house.
Various periods of excitement followed by slight nausea may occur.
I hope our job~ma helps a few more buffistas.
Some health~ma for my mom, and some I-am-a-rock-to-my-mom-and-sisters~ma for me, please.
There's a lump.
And, totally sympathizing with Cashmere's future craziness, I am NOW IN SEATTLE! I can see fancy Seattle skyline, and water, from my sublet window! It's all very exciting.
