Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Thanks for the good wishes, everyone. I should have a baby more often, if it brings out Fiona and Rio and causes ita to get completely COMM-y.

We're home. I am tired, because they won't let you sleep in hospitals, but otherwise feeling good. Peter is much less puffy and Winston-y. Casper is riding the wild emotional roller-coaster of big sibling-hood, and kind of breaking my heart.

Pictures, still in Winston-face, start here: [link]

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

My sister, who used to post as Rah-Rah back in the days of the Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness thread, is GETTING MARRIED!

This afternoon, she and her girlfriend will be getting married, with our mother officiating (she's not a minister, but will be playing one for the day and has the government certificate to prove it).

My other sister (who posts occasionally as Helena Handbasket) and I will be singing a couple of songs - one from the Powerpuff Girls and one from Fellowship of the Ring. What can I say? We had to make sure the wedding had at least a minimum geekiness level.

Just wanted to share the happy. Now I'd better go make that sushi for the reception.

LAistas! Following Comic-Con, I will be hanging in your area this Sunday, July 23. I'd love to see people. Any takers?

Librarian Warlord

Greetings, Buffistas! I have been very dark grey due to conventions, and an ugly stomach virus, and I will be staying drak grey because of a vacation, but I am still going to ask for some of your patented interview ~ma for this coming Friday, 9-5 Eastern time. Many thanks!

Our wings are not tired.

My family has arrived in Otter Lake NY for the next month. Alas, my broadband will not be installed until Friday and I just can't consider catching up with threads on dial-up.

Email is being received in the meantime.

Missing my Buffistas muchly.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

G and I will be in Portland, OR in early August. (He's got a business conference to attend, and I decided to travel with him because I've never been to Portland)

If any Portlandistas are interested in meeting up, we can discuss things more in either the F2F thread or by e-mail.(profile e-mail works)
