I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

Always Anti-fascist!

If I'm dark for a little while, I'm having a minor tech issue...I hope it won't come down to it but it might.

So. I'm going in for some surgery tomorrow. Any and all smooth sailing and best possible results -ma would be very much appreciated.

The diagnosis is Stage I endometrial cancer, which, if it stays ranked (?) at Stage I and hasn't progressed more than a third of the way through the uterine lining, well, that would be the best case scenario and provide for an excellent prognosis. Naturally, this is my hope.

Should only be in the hospital 2-3 days. Recovery is 4-6 weeks, during which time I expect I will be the opposite of dark around here. Prayers, good thoughts, vibes, -ma -- all very much appreciated.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My best friend's father just passed away tonight unexpectedly. He had cancer, but it was still sudden. Now she and her brother will have to run the family business (she already works 65+ hour weeks) and she just bought a house this week.

Sincere request for -ma for her and her family in the upcoming weeks. He was a good man, and a loving father. They were close.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Requesting event-ma for our big Artists' Summit we're throwing all this week in AZ. For safety for participant, partners and students, for smooth logistics & good communication, and that the kids will enjoy the event and benefit from it. We have a filmmaker, painter, guitarist, instrument repair expert, and a goth band coming in. Should be fun.

I'm moving to Chicago in May. I think I've got everything covered but a job, and I'll be looking for one over the next two months.

It's not a big move, but in my defense, it is a whole new time zone!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Job-ma sought, my lovelies - I'm busy sending off applications like a good girl, because this job ends in 4 months' time, but the interviews they are scarce. Open minded about where I work - I've applied to Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Chicago, Boston, Prague, Bratislava, Rome and umpteen other places. Somewhere just needs to give me a job.

Somewhere where the bosses aren't secretly Wolfram and Hart, that is. Insh'allah.

I'm in LA, and it looks nice outside, so Kristin and I are planning to go to the Getty this afternoon. If anyone else wants to come, give us a call! My cell (which I expect I shall take down before we leave, so anyone who wants to stalk me, take note quickly!) is (too late!)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

This weekend, Greg and I made an offer on a house. Today, the agent called and told us that the seller considers it "a very solid offer." There's a problem with an assessment against the house by the city that has to be sorted, but it's 99% likely that we have a house.

Over a month ago, buffistas got together and gathered some funds for this project. That money will be paying the home inspectors next week.

It would have been awfully hard to do this without you and we are so very grateful. Come visit us in Cleveland and hang out in the Buffista house anytime. You're all more than welcome.
