Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Requesting the all powerful Buffista health~ma for my mother. She is still in the hospital. A recent blood test came back with odd results so they are rerunning it this morning to verify the results.

A touch of sanity~ma for me would not be amiss either.

Mom-Update.

The blood test came back with the same odd results. So, now they are playing trial and error at correcting the problem. Does not give me warm fuzzies. I'm headed off to go visit her.

She knows about my invisible internet friends and was glad I got to spend some time with a few of them last night.

Please keep the ~ma flowing.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I wander thru from lurkiland for another request for -ma. I backed into another car in a very busy, very tiny parking lot today. The other driver was very nice, and totally willing to give me an estimate and try to take care of this ourselves. It's a very small dent to the driver's side door, with a schmear of black from my bumper as an accent. But the car that I hit...a Honda? No. A Ford? No. I hit a damn JAGUAR! (My last accident (6ish yrs ago) was me backing into a Mercedes. I'm not sure why my truck is so bent on taking out cars that I can't afford the replacement parts for).

Therefore, (cheaply)pop-out-able dent, buff-out-able schmear-ma would be greatly appreciated. Gaaah. Thanks.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Many of you know this, but it might as well be public.

I'm getting a divorce. Yes, it's been coming, and no, it's not really a surprise, but it's no less painful or heartbreaking. It's complicated and difficult and more than a little hellish.

I don't really feel up to phone calls or even IMing much, but online support or just coping~ma is always appreciated. I'm more than a bit broken.

Thanks.

Job-ma worked. I got the job I interviewed for and can now add the word "Senior" to my job title. I release it into the void for Cass, Trudy and all other job seekers.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

My family's restaurant was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning. My father and sister are OK, but the jackass got the money bag. At this point, the police have suspects, but no hard evidence.

Some catch-the-SOB-with-concrete-evidence~ma would be appreciated.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just received a note from our New Orleans tour guide Lloyd Sensat:

Sun Oak in Exile...
Dear friends,
I am sure that Lloyd Sensat has already let you know that we are still alive and kicking. Lloyd and I left about midnight on Aug 27,2005 after the Head of the State Police said "Folks this is the big one and there is little traffic at this moment"

We quickly packed and headed for Baton Rouge. There we stayed with one of my former students, Phil Boggan who directs the State Main Street Program for the Division of Historic Preservation. We would soon be joined by two other former students, their two year daughter, mother in law and 5 dogs. After two days there Lloyd and I left for Pineville, La. where my sister lives in a big old historic house on a hill. I had to have an operation that was supposed to be outpatient but ended up staying in Rapides Medical Center. for a week, then two week recuperating and back to Baton Rouge and my telephone and e- mail contact through Phil. I am trying to complete a book that I have been working on for a year; it is way over due thanks to illness and Katrina-Rita, but it shall be done with a conclusion that praises the old Creole houses of Louisiana. (its subject ) for their strength and resiliency.

Gene Cizek

We return home...

Miraculously, our beloved Sun Oak survived completely intact and our ancient oak tree, too! There was wind damage...a dormer window blown out, trees uprooted in the garden, maggots in the refrigerator but no water ever in the house. We credit Blessed Father Seelos for protecting the place. It was a miracle for us. Now he is certainly destined for sainthood! We have returned home to live. I just checked in our first Bed & Breakfast guest since Katrina & Rita. and look forward to the return of our historic city.

Lloyd Sensat
