OK, I have a favor to ask of someone...I'm doing a performance next Wednesday, and have decided I really need to do it in a corset. Sadly, though I've been nosing around Meschantes and ebay, I don't yet own one!! But I know a lot of Buffistas do. I'm willing to pay for shipping and a "rental" fee (and promise to send it back quickly!), would anyone be willing to loan one to me? Apartment~ma, please. I received a notice yesterday that the new owners of my apartment building are adding $400 to my rent on February 1st. I have until January 31st to move.
For those who were worried about Polter-Cow, I just wanted to let you know that his auto-email response says this:

last time I was there, they didn't even have toilets.

The job~ma of Buffistas is strong, but my DH had to turn down the job offer he got at the end of the interview. The hours they wanted him to work were obscenely bad.

Requesting some of that powerful Buffista ~ma for my mom, who had emergency surgery on Christmas, and for my sister and me, as we deal with the fallout. 2005 will not be a peaceful year, I suspect.
My uncle just went into the hospital. They don't know what's wrong, but he is unable to stand. An MRI came back normal. I would appreciate any healing ~ma for him, strength ~ma for my father (who will probably end up with much of the mental, emotional and physical care), and diagnostical ~ma for his doctors. Thank you so much.
Ugh. My grandfather had a mildish heart attack today, and his health insurance runs out tommorrow at midnight. It seems like everyone needs ~ma today, but if there is any super-speedy recovery~ma left sitting around they'd want to send him, it'd be much appriciated.

In other news, Customer Service Temp job has changed.
When I got to the orientation meeting for job today, I was told that the company had been informed by the client that the project was on hold. There would be no training day Friday, and the three-week project was off.
However, they have another project that has training tomorrow, and full blown work on Thursday. The other project could use us, and it is 6 to 8 weeks, and would anyone be willing to do that?
Silly question. Plus? they changed my hours to 9-5:30 instead of 8:30-5pm, so that'll work out better, too.
Still, I will keep looking for better work while I'm employed.
