You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

A bit of good-karma vibeage for my friend Marlene's 25-year-old recently newlywed daughter, Abby, is requested tomorrow morning. She's going in for a biopsy of a very hard and very suspicious lump in her neck, which her doctor has described as a "complex unidentified mass".

We would like this to be a cyst of some sort, easily removed by needles aspiration, rather than anything more serious.

Thanks.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ola Chicago Buffistas!

I'm posting from the Apple store here in Chi. Bunch of us are going out tonight to the Country Calendar Show at Fitzgerald's. Please feel free to join us! Show starts at 9:00 - we'll probably be there before hand. So far I've talked tommyrot, brenda, knut into coming.

We're also planning on meeting in Wicker Park tomorrow before the Quimby's event at 7:30.

Last night Knut and I went to see Kelly Hogan at The Hideout. We had a blast. Fun! Yay!

Matt's home - sleeping in the big chair. I must wake him in a bit so I can go get his pain killer. The doctor was really pleased- got more of the nerve than he thought he would be able to -- he said" I'm not going to say I'm proud of myself - but I'm proud of myself". I like his doctor. Funniest thing - matt was semi awake durring the surgery and kept trying to look at what they were doing.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Cancel or shift the ~ma. I just got an email.

"I spoke with ____ this morning and they're going another route with their hiring procedure. I would still like to keep you in mind for future projects that come my way if you don't mind."

Frell.

Our wings are not tired

I need some apartment ~ma. I've got an application in for one place that I really want to get. It's a 2 BD with a garage and it's only $950 and it's in a good area in Burbank and I really really need to get this done like NOW! So any spare ~ma that can come my way regarding apartments would be very good.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Some bureaucra-ma please. I'm trying to go thru all the paper-work, red tape, and rigamarole to get back into school, which my company will pay for, but I want to start at the beginning of the year, so hoops must be jumped through quickly.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Emma update:

This morning Emma had a fever of 100.6. A few hours later her temp was down to 100.4. Not enough. Emma has been moved to NICU.

That's not as horrible as it sounds. Providence/St. Joseph's doesn't have a "nursery" per se so all babies that need to be "watched" go to NICU. She is being given intravenous broad-spectrum antibiotics as a pre-emptive measure against possible infection.

As of an hour ago her temp had dropped to 98.9. She looks to be on the mend, but we will most likely not get her home until Sunday at the earliest.

Send the ~ma.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Thessaly writes writes, on livejournal:

...I'm accepted to New England College's graduate program in poetry, with a nice chunk of scholarship money to start my forage for funding. I'll probably start classes in July. It's a low-residency program, so I'll still be here, just overwhelmed.

Anyone with any ideas for where to find another $22,000, please chime in.

WOO AND HOO!!!
