Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The ma, she is powerful stuff. The BF got the job! He is going to be working at a small production company which does a cable show about cars and motorcycles ("Life in the Fast Lane" on Fine Living Network) . He's be pitching. writing, shooting and editing segments and getting all the production experience he needs, plus getting to travel to all kinds of cool locations and drive cool cars. It's a small place, so there is lots of room for him to develop ideas and maybe even shows. Money is not a lot, but we don't need much. We're both tickled to death. Yahoo!!!

Hellbound Equal-Opportunity Nookie Hog

Since a batch of you have emailed me in the past using my profile addy, I figured I should note that said address has changed from gasconne at yahoo dot com to lysana at gmail dot com (yes, I am a sheep). If you all could change your address books, I'd appreciate it.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Thanks for all the -ma. Of my two suddenly sacked friends, the one who's a single mother and was in the worst straits now has her job back. I don't know about the other lass, and I'm not very optimistic, but hopefully she'll either be re-hired or find something better. I return half the -ma with interest, but retain some of it on behalf of my other mate.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

So, it's official. By the end of the month, I will be in Los Angeles permanently. Apparently whatever was in the water in Michigan spread south. I'll be looking for housing and work, and trying not to get myself killed on the freeways, and so will probably be around somewhat less for a while.

Looking for some health baby -ma. My four month old daughter Abby has a major eye infection we have been in the hospital since Thursday. We hope to have her home monday or tuesday.

I don't post that much but I am a big lurker and I have seen the power of buffista -ma.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Some more generalized health-ma directed at the Boston area would be greatly appreciated again. Also, if vw or I have fallen out of touch or failed to respond when we should've, it's not because she/I/we wished to, or wish to lose friends. Life is annoying and distracting, but/so all friendship is greatly appreciated.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Sneaking in after a considerable absense to note that pictures from the Chicagoista Picnic F2F on June 19th are now up here. See aurelia juggle penguins! See eight Buffistas squeeze themselves into tommyrot's magnificent car! Wince as we try to put out the grill! All this and more, folks.

Also, on a slightly more personal note, my sometime-adventures in Chicago can be found here, if you feel inclined to keep up with my not-being-hereness. Miss all ya'll something fierce.

Trust my rage

I was accepted today at UNC's law school for next year! The dean called me, which was a huge surprise, but really cool. This is a huge relief as I am headed out there to find a house this weekend.

Whatever ~ma has come to me, I release back into the world.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I (finally!) got my results, and I passed the Society of Actuaries Sourse 1 exam! Next step: job.

move out and draw fire

Back from my West Coast trip, so hopefully not so dark for a while. It was great getting together with the LA-istas! Many hugs to Lee for arranging everything.
