Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

there is something to be said for the lyric and imperial attitude / believe that everything is for you until you discover that you are for it

I have a ticket to Turandot at the Metropolitan Opera tonight. Due to the fuckwit managing the project I'm working on, I'm stuck in Boston. The production is supposed to be wonderful. If any NYC Buffista is interested in going, email me at profile address. Opera starts at 8PM.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Grandpa update-He has a C Dif infection. Doing better, hungry and bickering at my gram, so he's back on the mend. He's having a bowel ultrasound this morning to make sure there aren't any perforations or clots.

Average everyday sane/psycho supergoddess

Hi! Really quick message here to let you all know I'm not dead or anything! I've had a GREAT time being off, but I am working at my new job RIGHT NOW -- it's my second day, and I have access, just not as much as I used to. I'm a court advocate in a women's shelter and so far it's great. Money's not wonderful but -- get this -- I get to make up my own schedule. As long as I hit 40 hours a week, and am here for some meeting, it's anything goes. Woo and hoo. On the downside, I now have to share an office, so no porn.

I'll try to check in later. Miss you all!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Just realized that it's my two year anniversary of moving to LA, today. I believe all important life changing things should happen on Halloween.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I will be dark starting this afternoon, through Monday, as I'm going to a convention.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Retina.net seems to be on indefinite hiatus, so I've changed my profile email address to an account I can actually access. Please address mail there. Thanks!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I'm dark this weekend b/c I'm staying at Mom's while stepdad is camping. She wants Buffy S2 tapes, and who am I to turn down a BuffyFest?

I have my training session to learn how to inject the MS medication tonight at 8. I could use vibes for steady hands and good aim.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Dark for the next week while a new machine's put together for me; profile address is good if needed.
