Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

I've never done this before but I've recently uprooted my life and moved out East to get a life and find a job and I'm requesting a little jobma for tomorrow. I have a second interview with a very cool nonprofit organization and getting the thing would mean having my first real job after a long series of retail, low-paying temp jobs, and non-paying internships. It would also mean the fulfillment of my seemingly impossible quest - full health benefits!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I'd like some budgeting and job-ma for this summer and fall. I found out that my graduate internship (which includes a fall/winter tuition stipend) will not be renewed -- it's a yearly contract, and since I student teach in the spring, I wouldn't be able to work then, so...no renewal. Also, I found out that the financial aid I get for summer will cover only my tuition, and my stipend for my job won't pay my rent and bills, so I need to find a night and weekend job. I'm-a starting scouting now, and applying in two weeks.

So any -ma in that general nature would be appreciated! Grazie.

I want to thank the Buffistas for the jobma - it worked once again! I found out that I got the job today and I start on Tuesday. I'll be working for a great organization that trys to get the government to treat working people more fairly. I'm returning the jobma, and in addition, I'll be throwing out extra -ma vibes to all the Buffistas who need it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

t gives Jobma a kiss and retuns it to the grove of Buffista goodwill

Who? moi??

A friend of mine, Katherine Lawrence, is missing from her home in Arizona. She took her car. She left a suicide note. She could be anywhere. She changes her mind a lot, so there is lots of hope. If anyone has any information, please contact the Tucson police. Or me. Or post in her LJ.

Her LJ name is kathlaw.

Thank you.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Thanks to all those for vibing for our friend Katherine's safe return. Sadly, this time, it wasn't to be.

Katherine's body was found this afternoon by some hikers, along the banks of the San Pedro river.

I've just found out that my second-best friend and his wife are going to have a baby (their third child). Yay for wonderfully smart, conscientious parents having lots of kids!
