Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

This thread is for Buffista quotage. Posts that are profound, witty, or otherwise deserving of immortality go here. This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. Finally, please note which thread spawned the quotage and please white-out anything that might be spoilery to Un-Americans.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

erikaj in Natter:

In cyberspace, it is so easy to castrate somebody in writing.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Rio: ita I sended you one of them e-lectronic mail letters a little bit ago asking for some important information, did you get it?

ita: Rio, you should have a little piece of me in your hot little box RIGHT NOW.

Rio: Yay for dirty ita. I got it. I will put something in your (mail) hole soon.

Always Anti-fascist!

Theodosia, in Previously: I am prepared to suspend my disbelief for the sake of rampant foaminess

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Victor Infante: Heh. When I played Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing, we used to cabbage patch backstage at rehearsals and shout, "Whoop! There it Doth!"

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Shawn: please explain to me what Clindamycin Phosphate lotion, Nizoral, bentyl Dicyclomine, and propoxiphine are?

John H.: They're the members of a Czechoslovakian boy band.

Clindamycin is the cute one with the ringlets. Phosphate Lotion is the "bad boy" of the group, meaning he wears a black leather jacket in photo shoots. Nizoral has blond streaks and wears baggy pants and is supposed to appeal to the skater chick element. Bentyl ("Benny" to his fans) is the least good looking one but he can actually sing. Proposiphine looks the gayest but is actually the only straight one of the bunch.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The slow corruption of vw bug continues in Buffy:

I'm shocked that it took more than 24 hours to get to this conversation. It was my first thought when they showed Spike picking up girls. I myself am not into the slash, so I thought I'd sit and wait until the topic came up. My god...you all have let me down so.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

From Natter

John H. All unhealthy-attachment, online-addiction stuff aside, nobody wants to ask what is the correct thing to do when someone posts about contemplating suicide?

Burrell Oh this board, one is far more likely to come accross someone threatening murder.

Based on what I've seen, the proper response seems to be to encourage it, and/or offer to help. (Murder, that is, not suicide.)

ita I think there's more solicitation for murder than threats to carry it out, here.

Or maybe I only pay attention to the posts with my name in them.

It's a remora, dimwit.

Burrell: Why does it have to be a FELLATIO monster? What use have I for that?

DavidS: It's not supposed to be useful - it's a monster dammit! It's not a damn sex genie

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

flea, in Buffy, and although I don't think it's spoilery, because hello to the long, involved thought process that brought us to this imagery, but:

So I clearly cannot choose the Giles in front of you!
