It's too much work. I don't want to be interactive; I want to be inactive. I just want to turn on my TV and watch something good while I lull myself into a false sense of complacency.

This thread is for Buffista quotage. Posts that are profound, witty, or otherwise deserving of immortality go here. This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. Vortex on "Heroes":
If you come visit and find a bunch of different colored strings all over my living room, understand that it's not a decorating choice.
victor really liked vortex's comment.
Toddson in experimental TV: Network Drama
is this where I ask "who is Johnny Gault?"
connie neil in Natter:
If there are going to be strange people in my head, they really need to sign in at the front desk and introduce themselves.
This exchange isn't funny, but it deserves to be immortalized for its sheer awesomeness.
Cashmere:
Aimee, package JUST came!!!! It's huge. Owen and I are unpacking it.
Aimée:
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Cashmere:
The summer stuff and the pants will fit this fall--she's shorter than Em but she's growing. The shoes are her EXACT size!
Thank you so much.
My miniature Diva thanks the Princess.
Laura: The Buffistas babies wearing each other's handmedowns just warms my heart. "This is my favorite dress, it came from mommy's invisible friend."
Aimée:
The Princess says the Diva is most welcome.
I love the Buffistas Clothes Exchange, also. Burrell Passed on some GORGEOUS dresses to Em. Now that our clothes are here (YAY!!!), she can wear some stuff other that what she has been for the past 3 weeks.

It's a neat thing as a parent, and I haven't even done the handmedown thing, because everything was already gone. My kids know about a lot of Buffista kids, though. They always want to see their pictures. They know a ton about Owen and Olivia. They know about Lillian and Em.
They ask me about Grace and Noah constantly and remember them in their bedtime prayers every night. I'd had planned to prepare them for seeing the first pictures of Grace and Noah, because I didn't know if the tubes and stuff would scare them, but they came in one day when I was looking at lori's photos, so I just showed them, and they were totally fine with it and wanted to see more. They crack up at Grace's cranky faces, and have noticed how much they've grown.
SuziQ:
K-Bug follows the progress of all the buffistas sprog too. She still thinks that she is the princess. I'm just biding my time for Em to clue her in.
Stephanie:
I had this adorable pair of Robeez that i just loved for Ellie. The only way I could bear to part with them was to send them Olivia.
DavidS:
It's very fun putting Matilda in Buffista hand me downs, and we usually say, "This came from Ellie!" when we're getting her dressed.
She drools in appreciation.
Nora Deirdre:
aw, the Cindy sprog make me so happy.
Laura
My parents and kids have watched with interest the twins growing. I figure all the extra prayers can't hurt. My mother is the big prayer person in the family with the daily mass thing. When extra help is needed I put her on it.
SailAweigh:
Heck, all the Buffista sprog make my allergies act up. It's an amazing community that can bring so many people together in such a caring way. Okay, must go find kleenex.
brenda m: I'm still waiting for those computer chip implants the religious right keeps telling us are coming. Not terribly thrilled about the bar codes on our foreheads, but I guess you take the bad with the good.
Cashmere in Veronica Mars:
When I told DH of cancellation he said: "Honey, you're cursed with good taste and low marketability."
