It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My sinuses have never been cleaner, thanks to the Diet Coke lavage that ita induced in the RotK thread:

Viggo no-ego-speaks-three-languages-LOVES-his-horses-
carries-his-sword-in-public-is-adored-by-all-unites-nations-
brilliant-photographer-singer-poet-painter Mortensen?

Completely unrelaxing. He makes me tense, and after more than a few minutes of interview I start inching back in my seat.

He's Viggo Sue, and that's creepy.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In Spoilers:

Amych: Is that like lurkers supporting you in email?

Xanderella: Maybe in some microcosmic sense. The lurkers are much more vociferous in their support. They frigging love me. I had to set up a separate account, just for all the lurker support that comes to me every minute of every day.

It's true. They'd tell you too, but they're too busy lurking and emailing me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

tommyrot: Last night I had a dream about a giant subway station / cafeteria in San Francisco. You'd pay your fare, take many flights of stairs down, eat in the cafeteria, and then get on the train. The cafeteria clerks laughed at me because I accidentally took an entire ham.

Why can't I have dreams about sex like a normal person?

Calli: Accidentally? I'm trying to picture this.

tommyrot: Well I sat down and looked at my plate and there it was. So I was like, "That's what they were laughing at." Someone sitting next to me felt pitty on my - he threw most of the ham on the floor so I'd have a normal portion left.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ginger:

I took two years of Latin to avoid Home Ec, the only other elective available to me in eighth and ninth grade. It was either Omnia gallia est in tres partes or peanut butter cookies. I have found Latin to be quite useful over the years in writing, although I probably would have paid more attention if I thought I'd be able to conjure with it.

From the CWDNNSC file...

Theodosia: If I ever decided to make a Skunk Trap, it would be a stake rammed into the ground, a stout string and a nearly-empty Yoplait container, with the string firmly attached to both.

Nutty, comparing actor sizes:

flea and I have determined that Orlando has a tiny tiny head compared to most actors. In a head-off, James Van Der Beek would totally squash him.
