billytea, in Music:
Once during a game of Charades I had to communicate "Several Species Of Small Furry Mammals Gathered Together In A Cave And Grooving With A Pict." Which was still heaps easier than "Quadrophenia".
This thread is for Buffista quotage. Posts that are profound, witty, or otherwise deserving of immortality go here. This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. Finally, please note which thread spawned the quotage and please white-out anything that might be spoilery to Un-Americans.

Kat, in Buffy:
But sadly, I'm always coming back for more of Spike. It's like he's SpikeCrack. I know it will be a big let down. I know that it will only end in sadness and disappointment. But like every little addict I go back for more.
Gar, in Natter, on the Phoenix Board:
the quality of this board gives it the fastest response I've seen. Most bulletin board software simply did not pay the amount of attention to quality of the code that the coders for this one did. It was handled not merely professionally, but top-tier professionally. It was tested to hell and back before release. It seems like "good enough" was never accepted for any of the code. It not only had to be functional, but elegent, and pretty much all optimized.
Because I think it needed to be memorialized. And I agree wholeheartedly.

disappears in a cloud of meta-self referentialness stuff
billytea in Natter:
Meanwhile, I'm listening to Roxy Music, who are assuring me that there's a band playing on the radio. Which is nice, but not entirely relevant, since (as it happens) I'm currently listening to Roxy Music.
billytea, also in Natter:
Roxy Music now wants to know if my love's strong enough. It survived Charlotte and Norfolk, so I'm going to say yes.
hayden in Natter:
I have no flaws. Other than my occasional overindulgence in humility.
Kat, in Natter:
I'm beginning a catalog list of my flaws. Judgmental is right there at the top. Followed by impatient. Impatient isn't my tragic flaw, but like a doorman it sure holds a door open for the rest of them.
In Bitches, on the subject of cursing in British:
Betsy Hanes Perry:
If your mother didn't punish you for saying it, it doesn't count.
Steph:
That means nothing counts for me.
Right fucking ON, man!
Right buggering damn sodding hell ON, man!
Matt the Bruins Fan:
I remember having professional standards at one time... now it's more along the lines of "well, I won't feel it necessary to change my name and leave the country if things go out this way."
