You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. Finally, please note which thread spawned the quotage and please white-out anything that might be spoilery to Un-Americans.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In Angel:

Nutty: Ok, iffn we're getting gramatical, I want to throw down with them Brits, who insist that "z" is pronouced "zed" rather than "zee."

Trudy: No joke! The British Alphabet Song has 25 letters and a redneck.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

In Angel, but non-spoilery.

Madrigal Costello

First it's alright, then there's alot and pretty soon society is just a bunch of monkeys in trees flinging crap at each other and mocking each other's use of the subjunctive tense.

Pretty angsty boys make everything better.

DavidS, in SPOILERS, maybe spoilery for Buffy

*Man, I hate it when they save the universe with love. Who is Love's publicist anyway? Love is way more likely to be the First Evil anyway.*

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Dori, it would be nice to know which show it's spoilery for, since some folks are spoiled for one and not the other.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's BtVS, but not for anything that hasn't aired in the US.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Ita in Natter:

I'm so glad I'm me, since otherwise I might have to be around me, and I suspect that might not be as much fun.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Nou, in Angel:

—–— <-- an Eminem dash.

Thanks for all the fish.

Mr. beth b in Natter

this may be why there are no alaskan buffistas (which, come to think of it, sounds like a particularly furry version of sled dog, with a penchant for studded leather harnesses.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

ita in Natter:

NBC's all "Fear Factor, and then Michael Jackson unmasked"

Quite honestly, being buried alive is a preferable alternative to sitting and looking at Michael Jackson for an hour.

Noumenon, talking about a non-spoilery discusssion in Angel:

You might want to skip from Perkins "Angel 2: No Time for Losers" Feb 16, 2003 3:10:43 pm EST where Perkins innocently asked if it was correct to say "Wes's lizard brain" or "Wes' lizard brain," on through a discussion of "Zed" vs "Zee" in the alphabet song, a discussion of ellipses and good grammar, through the final post about em and en dashes at Rebecca Lizard "Angel 2: No Time for Losers" Feb 17, 2003 1:20:46 am EST, about three hundred posts later. And the really amazing thing is that we never got sidetracked onto the puns of punctuation, in all that extended period. I think the abstruse points of style put our brains into a comma.
