I was just reading a recap of "Awakening", and it mentioned the basic plot of "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia", the song Angel sang for Lorne. Then, in "Soulless", when Cordelia comes down to tell Angelus the deal's off, he says that he thought she'd be "halfway to Georgia by now".
While I'd like to think my home state is just that popular, the song seems more likely. Hmm and hmm.
