How about THE Unknown Person?
And where do you get off being so funny in COMM, Yarkona? Am I allowed to quote a COMM post in COMM? Or should I quote it in another thread since it's already in COMM to begin with?
Oh, I am now The Confused Unknown Person.
It's fun being snarky in COMM. It really eliminates the middleman.
Y'know, we do try to keep this a natter-minimal zone. FYI.
Sorry, Jesse.
Schmoker, there is some tradition of 'I'd like to COMM post ####, COMM thread'. Can't see an example quickly.
t /natter. really.

Typo boy: OK quick help - does 11 X 17 = one of these sizes: Ledger, executive, statement?
If not, what are the alternate terms for it. I'm trying to find what printers can handle what paper, and I don't know what the terms mean.

Typo boy: OK used better google tactics this time. 11 x 17 = ledger.
Hope no one went to any great trouble.

Daniel breaks down, weeping over his treatise on advanced paper sizes and their reletive use in the world of publishing, business and world commerse.

ita: Whew. I've applied the last coat of clear satin finish to the desk I stained yesterday. The pie has 20 minutes left to go.
I am so freaking tired. But at least I have 2 hours to rest up before krav.
I'm pretty optimistic about this piecrust (from America's Test Kitchen), though I was on the brink of giving up because it was so freaking hard to work with. I feel it will flake. I like running through different recipes, since it gives you a good sense of applied pie mechanics.
I still can't say "pie" properly. I've been Weebled. In fact, I have been known to (but not been witnessed) to chant "pie" (look! I just did it) at random, but pie-related moments.

Phill: There must be a funny and tasteless way to spin this situation, and by cracky, we're just the ones to do it!

DavidS: > sounds like the paper I wrote on The Tempest.
Whoa. That sounds intense. I can't even figure out how you tied it together.
DavidS: [clears throat] Thesis was that the imagery in the Tempest predicates an ontology of actuality moving into possibility which I tied (with a very loose slipknot) to big bang physics and (more relevant for the topic) to Shakespeare's notion of morality being explicitly tied to the ability to imagine. With Caliban being the pivotol figure and redeemed by his ability to hear voices and whatnot.
Hayden: My god, does this make me want to smoke some pot.
