Yep, Robert P was and is superb.
But I'm an old-school X-Files woman: Mulder's Bitch.

Gee, I never got any ping off Mulder at all...just because he was smart, in law enforcement, had a troubled past and big brown eyes...completely unappealing.(/sarcasm...let's pretend,ok?) I think it would be nice to have a couple that don't want kids on TV...one area in which the medium is out of step/conservative.
a troubled past and big brown eyes
Let's not forget the cheekbones. And the ass. And the legs halfway to Alpha Centauri and back again. And the way he looked in a Speedo...
Yes, Mulder's pretty.(And um, I guess I missed the Speedo episode...I didn't know about that...it makes sense, though. The mythology lost me sometimes, so I quit watching...always enjoyed what Mulder and Scully had together, though.)
To be honest, though, Skinner did it for me. mmm, Skinner.
Skinner was hot.
Sexy, sexy man, Mitch Pileggi.
That show was crawling with pretty people, most of them unconventional in terms of TV Land.
I still say I don't see it. But it's better that way, honestly...my oost knows no bounds lately and you guys must get really tired of my tongue hanging out. I bet it's an appeal that sneaks up on a person...like the Munchkin.(I used to get really horrified by the suggestion he might be physically attractive...I don't feel that way about MP. He just doesn't set off anything for me.) And now I see it, although once again, WAY not conventionally appealing...in fact, you'd have to cross the street to get to "Unconventionally Appealing"(I say that with love, honestly.)
erika, did you see the episode about Skinner and his wife?
He took his shirt off. I nearly died of shock. Toned like a toned yoga thing.
But Duchovny, cresting the pool and slithering out, yoga-perfect body and that damned Speedo....
Manoman. If that wasn't illegal in 13 states, it damned well ought to be.
I don't think so...my X-files viewing was pretty casual not like my obsessive...um, devoted viewing of Buffy or Homicide.(And now I remember weird things like when Mulder and Scully said they were Rob and Laura Petrie to check out the thing in the condo complex. Or that weird guy that tried to take over Mulder's life.)
I wasn't obsessive about it - but the first few seasons were beautifully written and completely unique for the time in which the show premiered. So much going on with it, you know?
