I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I just think a little birthday happy? Damnit, they'd earned it.

Me, I'm pretty situation-specific about schmoop.

I just think Buffy deserved better than a very cruel joke played on her by the fates, which is what that story arc seemed to be about, in a way.

Always Anti-fascist!

I thought that whole cruel fate story was interesting and a good riff on that whole "We fucked...he changed" bit. But I secretly always wanted one night like Deb's version. And I think that is what fanfic is for(it's helping me work out my whole "Give Kay more to do" thing.Cause *I* just find her majorly interesting, not to slight the magic of FrankenTim. Cause, dude, FrankNtim.)

YES! Precisely it. And of course, I know the storyline was all about the "doomed lovers" thing and it was certainly an interesting way to make damned sure they were actually doomed and all, but shit, couldn't they have at least given them one good night where they wake up together and no one gets fanged or harmed and they both actually get to remember it?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh Deb. Sniffly. Sneak schmoop attack.

erika, I'm loving Kay. You know, before she did H:LotS, Leo did The Young Riders. She was glorious, her hair knotted back off her face, calico dress from floor to wrist to neck, using that twist to her mouth and the little twang in her voice to good effect. "The little woman" to all outward appearances, small in stature, demure in dress, keeping with the convention of the times (unlike the buxom bleached blonde with the face paint who "replaced" her), but tough as bootleather and hard as nails when need be. She was a different character, of course, but the spine and the glint in the eye were the same as Kay's.

And you've got her, to the life.

Wasn't ML amazing in Young Riders? Bev, that's an uncannily perfect description of the character she played, and how she played it. And yes, she got to wear the hair loose (edit: it was loose the first time I saw her on that show, at least - on horseback, and she'd just been riding hard. Glorious.)

ML skews my Kinsey bigtime. That face... the way the chin comes up. Gah.
