Always Anti-fascist!

He has a wound on his left hand that hasn't healed yet, which he discovers when some comely minion brings him his first...feed(He can't say "blood" yet...that reminds him of the shooting too.) "Ow! Watch the digits, babe! Have you been sampling the produce or something?"
"You don't remember?"
"No...hence the asking. What?"

"I'd best leave that for Mistress Darla to explain."
"No...I think you'd better tell me now." And he tried to look imposing, which was hard to do, flat on his back, even if, all told, he enjoyed that position very much. But some of his squadroom technique must translate, because the woman explains. "You crawled out of your own grave."
And as crazy as it is, his next thought is "That's great, John. You finally have a transforming experience and you don't remember any of it." He hopes his brother got an eyeful.

Sooo... any Alias people out there willing to eyeball the Arvin/Jack? It's not very smutty, but I made a friend read it who isn't terribly familiar with Alias, and she claimed it made her need to scrub her brain.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

erika, post-vamp Munch?

There's a nice echo of "Salem's Lot" in there. The disorientation.

Never read it. I was still in my "Omigawd, Steven King?! Read a real book sometime." phase. Which I didn't lose till "Shawshank". There was a rant and everything...I hated to see it go...but I had to give him props...if a white girl from Glendale could give props. I still can't believe I wrote Vamp!Munch...it disturbs me, but one book I read told me that that means you're on to something. I have to know what happens too, but maybe...sniff.

Oh, "Salem's Lot" is a huge, rambly, out of control vampire novel, with a lot owed to a couple of majors. Most of it was insanely over the top.

But he had some really nice takes from the POV of the newly vamped, the ones in transition - rather than bite, bleed, die, wake up and bite others, the vamp coming and taking a little bit more each night, so that the death and transition is sloooooow. And that disorientation was a very nice bit.
