They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

Yep. I wasn't talking about you. Some people's dialogue is just kinda tragic, huh? And every day, there's just more and more. Do be a fic writer. Don't write Mary Kays.

Up with the sun

Deb, I liked each of your drabbles more than the one before -- and I liked the Dru one quite a lot. Olivia is an interesting character to write because we *don't* know much about her. And bringing back the knife in the Buffy-Faith one ... *shiver.*

SA, I like your story *because* it's dark. It's not pointlessly angstily morbid at all.

Nobody

I'd like to think it was found in the rubble of the school when Xander oversaw the rebuild, and that it found its way back to Faith.

I'd like to think Xander kept it as a memento of the slayer he had, and the slayer he couldn't have.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ooh! I like that, Cindy.

One thing I really liked about the Jack o' Lantern drabble was that the knife came up so unexpectedly in what was a fun, friendly context.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

It got me to wondering whether Buffy would actually be able to bring herself to use the thing, especially in front of Faith.

Ripper and Munch are working their way into training(They both have a lot to say so it's not very actiony. And after all that fight-scene anxiety... [link] edited for transposed digits.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

erika, your Kay is my Kay. I hear Leo's voice saying your words as Kay--that should tell you you've got her.

Deb, I love all three, but especially Olivia. Because--we don't know what happened to her, and I miss her, miss her and Rupert, miss knowing she's well and happy and maybe misses Giles now and then.

sa--wow. Oh yeah, just like a punch in the stomach. It left me just a little queasy with sympathy and reaction. What a great idea, and you did a great job with it.

Victor, yay! at the knowledge there will be more.

Punishingly Intricate

Apropos of Melissa Leo-- Entertainment Weekly, in their very early Oscar predictions story last week, mentioned her as a possible Best Supporting Actress in, if I'm not completely mis-remembering, 21 Grams. Very excited to hear she's in the game!
