Drabble, for a Lindsey challenge:

Bending at the Wrist

His knees still work.

Damned good thing, too, since the hand is fucked up beyond belief. The synapses from brain to fingers on the transplant, they just don't work right. He tells it, bend; sometimes it does, other times not. He commands it, scratch an itch; it pokes the waittress' nipple instead, and she hits him, and the hand seems amused.

He rolls it, flexes it, kneels carefully. The guitar case has three snap-latches; the first two are fine, third latch, the hand skitters across the top. Fucking tease.

"Come on, asshole." He bends the wrist. "I've got a gig."

He has an evil, seperated from his body...hand.?!Unlike my left one, that does impressions thereof. So yes, I pretty much type one handed...hope I don't go blind, too.
