It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

It's totally for Buttery. Juts a bit of fun, this one. I didn't want to go funny, so I went poignant. Must go see if I know how to do tags on LJ...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Nice bit there, Deb. I love the Spred hotness, of course, but what's more interesting is how you managed to cast light on SO many characters in such a short space. Very nicely done. And plus:

Was there a reason you didn’t want me around, or was it something more than that? The thirty seconds it took to get me to wrench your knickers down around your dimpled little knees and leave you screaming for me, did you invest the time from wanting me gone?

Gah.

Deb, just cut and paste the t lj-cut and you're gold.

Heh. I wanted a hark-back to Spike's "What exactly does it take to pry apart the Slayer's dimpled knees?" from the gem of Amara crossover...

So, I should just and then close it with ?

edit: bugger.

Whoo-hoo! It worked!

Posted in LJ. Plei, I seem to have wound up with a thread running through all three of them: the reflex of the Watcher. Weird. It wasn't deliberate.

And yet, it works.

All about making Plei a happy woman.

Keeling over, moments from now. Tomorrow night I have to read my section of Matty to writers' group.

For Plei... from yesterday's discussion.

Deb--that was fantastic. Ouch. You have Spike's voice down to perfection. I completely believe that came from his brain.

You should take up this writing thang.

Plei, I read your Faith story in LJ. Broken now.

eta... The "For Plei..." thing? It's it's not for Plei's eyes only, or anything. *cough*

t shameless

Cindy, when I click the link, I get your journal, but the most recent thing showing is your "five answers" meme.

Try refreshing the page, deb. I did a friends' lock, but just a general one. You should able to get it.

Screw it. I'll post it here. It was a one-off nothing to make Plei laugh.

WARNING-- The following story contains "THE BIG" casting spoiler for Angel, Season 5, which I don't think is a casting spoiler any longer in here, because The WB has aired promos, but just in case, The presence of other characters of note are not spoilers, they're just there because I put them there. There are no plot spoilers.

Angel: The Show Must Go On

"I'm still not sorry. I think my soul is supposed to make me sorry. But I'm not. I'm not going to brood over this one, either." Angel looked Buffy straight in the eye.

She met his gaze, didn't back down, not that she ever backed down. She wasn't issuing a challenge to him, but rather, was accepting his challenge to her. "What did the others say?"

"Oh, Wesley is 'shocked.' If you want to know the truth, I think Wesley is more disappointed than shocked. And honestly? I don't think he's disappointed in me, although that's how he's playing it. I think he's mourning an opportunity lost--an opportunity to study, and research and probably bungle more prophecies and further fuck up my life."

"Angel..." It was more question than argument.

"Did you read the sign outside when you were entering the building Buffy? What did it say?"

"'Wolfram and Hart, Corporate Headquarters.'"

"And the sign behind the security desk in the main lobby?"

"'Angel Investigations, A Division of Wolfram and Hart.'"

"Right."

"But what does that have to do with anything?"

"He practically pranced in here, all pose and peroxide."

"So you killed him? He was...different. He had a..."

"Yeah. Soul. I got that, Buffy."

"But so why..."

"Show not called 'Spike.'"
