I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Whipping off his shirt, Xander wiped off his brow and chest, and grabbed one of the shovels. Anya stared for a second at Xander's intensity and started in at the foot of the grave.

Tara consoled Willow, who was starting to fall apart. "My fault," she cried, "it's all my fault. I should have known."

Goose. Bumps.

I wish I could do the challenge. Sheesh, even the 100-word challenge. My brain, she does not go for the fic-writing. I think I have an idea, though.

juliana - that's sort of what it's for. I have a long WIP and it's been lying dormant. Mostly likely, whatever I start in this game will end up incorporated into that story, eventually. Just write anything for a half an hour. So what if it sucks?

[link]

What I've written is very raw, and unproofed. I have a feeling I had trouble with verb tenses in the second half, because I wanted to keep the feeling that Buffy was telling the story to Faith as she was reliving it. I bounced from past to pluperfect without being careful. I haven't had a chance to pretty it up. Damned time limit.

I have to run.

Anne, please link yours here or in my comments, so people can find it. My story is friends' protected, because at some point, I will incorporate it into my long fic. If someone needs to be added, please give a shout.

Always Anti-fascist!

I have arrived! I just got bitchslapped with 'Homicide" canon. Pissed me off for about thirty seconds...Good morning to you, too. And you guys are not betas. There, I feel better having cleared that up.I sent her a very standard "Thank you for taking an interest. You're right. Are you happy now?" e-mail. The "Drop Dead" was implied.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it's not too raw, what was the canon point?

erika--what ita said. Also? Um... your story is obviously AU, because it's a BtVS crossover. You don't have to be a slave to canon if it doesn't serve your story.

Always Anti-fascist!

Apparently, Bayliss didn't begin officially studying Buddhism till the end, season seven. She says it "threw her out of the story." Really? And if I had a beta, I would know.Sex in cars with "hot chicks with superpowers." and that's what she notices? Let's just say we have different standards. And I think it fits in with his temperament all the way through. And I just started gradually...hey, if I fall in love with a girl this year, I'll be him, so to speak.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My mom always used to say "some people would kick if they was in swimming" which when I got around to asking her what the hell that meant is that some people live to criticize....

Always Anti-fascist!

She was right, but do I care? Not enough to change word one.I expected it...not so fast though, and more about possible-underage sex or something than Zen.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Plei? Mmmmore. Ssssooon, pleeeease.

erika, to borrow a Penny phrase, ass her in the ear. What does she know, anyhow?

Cindy? Um. I really considered it. For a minute and a half. 90 whole seconds. I can't find any of their voices, not Buffy, not Ats. It makes me sad. I must drown my sorrows in more coffee.
