Thanks. That would be fine. This is a rite of passage, isn't it. A year and a half from "Why would anyone want to do that?" to peddling smut of my very own. Buffistahood. It...changes people.
Buffista Fic: It Could Be Plot Bunnies
Where the Buffistas let their fanfic creative juices flow. May contain erotica.
Erika, I confess. I stole my tag from you.
erika - question numero dos. I'm doing a final pass on it, and found a paragraph where the POV changes. Can I change one "he" to "Munch", to show who is doing the talking? it's here:
"Kay, if you need to talk about it...I'm here for you." No way. Sunnydale's answer to Phil Donahue was not going to support Kay out of her panties, like the beautiful and glamorous but obviously extremely needy Faith. Still, she was nubile...or did somebody with that kind of practice at kissing no longer fit "nubile"? He wasn't sure.
I'd like to change that final "he" to "Munch wasn't sure. Because his POV goes on into the next bit:
"Thanks, Tim, but I'm OK. It's just a..rude awakening, that's all. You know, you start out as one person, then you turn around one day, and you're somebody else." That's my girl, Munch thought. Resist Heathcliff.
Me and my Bayliss-voice. And the significant...pauses. But somehow, it doesn't come off Shatnerish when he does it. Thanks, Deena. Deb, I can't believe I missed that. My internal editor must be on the monkey crack. Definitely fix it.
Fixed. Filing as a word doc - will attach and send to your profile addy. Can you look it over and tell me any changes you want, before I do a text-only version and send to Dana?
EDIT: BTW, 7200 words.
But of course.ETA: Damn! over unbelievable word count. It's not the longest I've ever written, the longest I finished though, by far.
aaaaaand, sent, to your profile addy.
And go you, on the finishing and the 7200 words and what's more important, every last fucking one of them being primo.
Thanks. That means a lot. It was sort of weird to have my mom tell me the same thing the other day. Not because she doesn't like my work...she does, beyond all reason, even, but, let's just say a different side to my ability.
Agreeing with Deb, erika. I don't dig crossovers as a general rule. This one of yours (and the new BandCandy/H:LotS one) is nothing like the general rule.
kat, that was amazing. You lifted all the little hairs on the back of my neck and arms. Thank you.
Thanks. Had three rules...two I stole from Larry David: No hugging.(except the Sex) No learning. No portals.
