Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I have to confess, I stopped watching regularly when they dropped Melissa.

They let her go and replaced her with some Barbie lookalike on Young Riders, and then they cut her loose from H:LotS because she wasn't "sexy enough"? I loved the Frank and Tim show, and the Munch and Meldrick show, but Kay was a really big reason why I watched. And it pissed me off they dumped her.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Oh yes. I was a big fan of Kay, although I also quite liked Isabella Hoffman's character, as a creation - the one thing that department had been lacking was a genuine urbanite well-travelled sophisticate.

They drew me all the way back in with Luther Mahoney.

Brava!

Luther Mahoney

Who shows up on the occasional episode of "The Wire" as an overworked medical examiner.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Woo HOO! Greg's library owns the first and second season on DVD (does that make sense? that's what the record said, but sometimes I don't trust them). I just requested it. It's out, but I'll get it when it comes back. Just in case it takes awhile or something goes wrong, I also ordered the series pilot, "Gone for Goode", on VHS.

I'm so excited now.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The H:LotS DVDs are on my short list of purchases to be made once my MasterCard bill gets whittled back down. I do own the movie on DVD and I often re-watch the FrankenTim rooftop scene. Good stuff.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have the H:LotS S1/S2 DVDs and the movie, but I've been putting off watching the movie, because I want to see the rest of the series in order first before I see the movie again.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yay! I get a conversion toaster...my second one ever. Very proud moment. I couldn't watch the rooftop thing again...I've entered into a very unfortunate crying-at-movies phase, and that's like too hard to explain...like "The Gift" in its way. So glad to hear that y'all think I did Kay proud...not that I'm finished yet, but that's a good feeling. Don't want to be "some hack with a word processor" or whatever a writer "secretary with a gun" is. Deena, yeah, seasons 1 and two because they were so short...NBC didn't give the show many props.I bought them too, this week.(Not just because I love the ep with Tim and Frank investigating the leather store...but I do have a special...fondness for that one.) Don't really have the money, but it's...research, that's the ticket.

What's not to be fond of? Listening to Andre Braugher's comment about someone in a French maid's outfit bent over the back of a chair....

Ah, there's my bunk.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm saying. And Timmy gets the leather jacket because the dead woman would've *really* liked him. Which he doesn't want to take, Because It's Wrong.(and back...Bayliss/Faith...I've got other things to do. Really, really.)
