Um, "d", hi. This is the fic thread. You might want to post your quotes in either or both of the "Quotables" (Buffy and Angel) threads.
Thanks, everyone for your lovely comments. And{Karl} cause the feeling's mutual.
Hi, I'm Erika and I'm a Phoenix-a-holic.
And because Deb is such an enabler, more Kay/ Whistler.
Even though Munch had cheered Kay up some, she still scanned the bar like she was in a perp walk. Her sister Carrie always said she had the wrong attitude, but that's why her family nickname was Little Carrie Sunshine. She was too nice.
She wished she'd paid more attention to the guy's name, but sometimes when Munch was talking the sanest thing was to tune out. She was sure she had him spotted now, the short guy with the hat.She thought longingly of the Toblerone and new Stephanie Plum novel she bought earlier that day. Munch always had weird friends, she thought, not excepting herself. He said it kept him from being "co-opted by the Establishment" or something. Kay could tell him outsider status was nothing to write home about.
-more-
She made her way over to the bar, fighting the urge to limp.
"Excuse me," she said. "Are you John Munch's friend?"
"I'm whoever you want me to be, pretty lady." Whistler replied.
To his surprise, she laughed. "I'm sorry, but does that ever work? Of course, I shouldn't talk. A few more drinks and you might convince me. I'm Kay."
"Whistler. I hope I didn't keep you waiting." He had no idea who she was meeting, but figured he might as well play the part. She was like a painting. Part thin blue line, part Botticelli.
Are you going to have Brodie in this too?
I'm not sure yet. Same guy, yes?
I thought he looked familiar. Sadly, I may have to miss that metalicious opportunity as I only saw one ep about the documentary and etc.
