Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hey, erika? May I politely request that you put some line breaks in there? It's a little hard on the eyes.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

OK, sorry, SA. I knew I forgot something.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

erika, I think I just died over here. Frank's line about being the best garbageman....

Died in a good way, or a "Please God, stop the pain!" way?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Wonderful, erika. You captured their voices very nicely.

Thanks. I love it when they bicker. And after our big descriptor thing, I didn't put in very many. They say everybody's name all the time anyway. In Homicide fic, it's Kay's hair that sends the Descriptor fairies racing for their thesauri.

In a totally blissed, "FRANK!!!" way.

This is wonderful and I want moremoremoremore.

I'm guessing it could get long...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Title: Fast Forward
Fandom: Buffy/The Dead Zone

Johnny's knocked back against the LAX terminal wall as the blonde girl shoves past. She reaches an absent hand behind her, and a distracted "sorry" floats back over her shoulder.
Time stops for him as skin touches skin, extending her apology to infinite length.
Images flicker through his mind like a flipbook: fights, anger, fights ... and then happiness. He's burning with it - the girl's going to be happier than she's ever been, consummating love.
The premonition frees him, as her happiness turns to tears.
He hopes it's worth it, that the memory of such joy will temper the pain.
