Twisted! I checked your list of victims and saw no sign of Chloe, Pete, Martha, or Jonathan. I could interpret that as being because a) they were left alone, b) were among the unidentifiable, or c) were turned by Lex.

You could indeed take any of those angles. My personal favourite view is that Clark is still sort-of good, and distracted Lex (and by distracted, you can guess what I mean), but it's left open, because if they had killed *all* of Clark's friends and family, it would be easy to work out who he was. As it is, with Martha and Jonathan left alive, he's probably been filed as a missing person, but that could be overlooked or not easy to connect.
Ooooh, my comment in another thread got turned into a nifty Clark line by Am-Chau! Thanks!
I really like:
Clark dozed for a little while on the sofa; Lex ate the cleaning girl who came every morning, careful to hide the body (he didn't think Clark wanted to see the direct evidence of his lover's new diet) and then settled down to make a plan, a list of things to do, people to kill.
He'd only reached item 23 ("the board of directors, slowly") when Clark woke up, and suddenly he had something else to do.
Especially, "the board of directors, slowly".

My pleasure. I did remember to ask permission, didn't I? I know I meant to, but I'm memfaulting on actually asking...

It was a lot of fun to write. A lot. Though I realise now that the word "slowly" doesn't actually fit with the description of Alexander's killing method. Huh. Time to fanwank that or change it...

Yes, you did. But I didn't know how it was going to be used (I gave a blanket "go for it"), and it was fun finding out.

Well, by specifying "slowly" next to the board of directors it could be suggested that this was anomolous for him.

Heh. Good.

Nice explanation. Maybe I won't bother editing it, then.
he's apallingly self-centred and has the moral centre of your average cat
t she makes that sound like a bad thing, I mused, gazing upon the two cats within view.
Oh, and revealing my biases ...
Vamp!Lex never looks up Dear Old Vamp Dad?
I was going to put the new V!Giles bit up, but I got distracted by Plei's new Gunn site--Hah! Gunn sight! I kill me. Maybe tomorrow.

Heh. One of those nights. I'm finishing up part three of "When You are Tired of London." May well have it tonight.
