You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Or something a bit like that, anyway. Er.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Mmm. That sounds about right. I'm thinking about writing it.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I don't suppose I can tempt you to write your Giles and your Spike in a Spike/Giles slashy sort of way, can I?

Not likely. Slash isn't something I'm particularly interested in. If it emerges as a logical progression of a story, fine, but otherwise, eh.

Deena, have you read Fay's Spike and Dru in Prague stories? Because she's always given great Dru.

I believe I have, though I plan to go re-read them just because I've recently become fascinated with Dru all over again since rewatching season 2. What I thought I said was that I haven't read anything where someone wrote her better. I mean to say, Fay's Dru and Spike voices are incredibly well done and I don't think the ME writers could do better.

I still want to know what the last bit of Dru's statement is, in the beginning post that got cut off.

still blushing fiercely.

I went back and fixed it, Deena. It's only one word, I think.

Thanks Fay. Today is total disconnect day and I feel like an ass because I thought I looked and didn't see it. Yes, today is disconnect the ass day.

Anyway, it's a beautiful story and I'd really love to read more crossovers like this.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

So, hey. I think we need to have a minor discussion about spikesbitch.buffistas.org. I've been poking around what I had before, and it's pretty good, but I think I could do better. Plus, we've had a lot of fic coming in and out of here since the first incarnation of the website.

I've got a few questions about how ya'll want the website to function. I'm probably going to pull off a redesign, for one thing. But do we want the fiction to be Jossverse/Spike-centralized? Or should it be author-centralized, and therefore open to all the fandoms we've been writing in? Would you prefer to have an auto-archive, so that you could update stories at your leisure, or stick with the coding I've been doing? Are there features that should be included?

Talk to me.

I'd vote multifandom, myself, but that's just because I'm a fandom slut. Auto archiving - would that mean like bfa or fanfiction.net or something?

Like I need a hole in my head

It's delurking day for me!

Fay, that story was *wonderful!* I love me some Sandman fic, but it's so hard to find.

And Victor, I loved your snarky Giles. That's just how he sounds in my head.

Um, not that Giles actually speaks to me in my head. You know what I mean.
