Lyra!
Holy mama, woman, that was scorchy as it gets. And true? True to both voices.
Yowsa! Great read.

Lovely Anya/Faith. I could hear them speaking those words.

THAT is praise.
Thanks, everyone.
I love your Anya. They both sound true to character, but your Anya has that accidentally funny thing going that is so her character and I haven't seen in forever.
Lyra, wonderful! I'd read more of this pairing by you.
The beast finally came in at 28 pages. It's not fan fic. It's a bloody novella.
Notwithstanding the fact that people write fan stories that weigh in at hundreds of thousands of words, as other people said-- victor, my own understanding of a novella (and that of the writer's dictionary at my side) says something more like 60 - 100 pages (if we say 500 words is a page). I mean, I've written (and aborted) fic that was 28 pages-- short story, absolutely.
... of course, I could be getting you wrong in terms of words/page.
TRG is 10.5k in terms of word count, inclusive of chapter titles.
Y'all are so literal. Hyperbole, people!
