Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Whoooeee. Asskicking stuff. A couple of small things:

he Angel

One of those (opening lines) needs to go. I expect it's the "he" that needs to go. Angel's name works better in that context.

Also, there's a line in there - something about wading out the tide. Is that a regional phrase, a colloquialism? Or is it supposed to be "wait"?

Angel went to speak, but in a flash, they were gone.

"went to speak" - that seems to read oddly. Went where? I wonder if "made to speak" or "opened his mouth to speak" might not work better there. Also, in a flash - is this a flash of light, or the more traditional flash of time? Because there's that wonderful use you've made of them standing on light, so this closing use of the word left me uncertain.

The story is clarifying. Manoman, is it ever.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

“This is the place behind the metaphor,” said Drusilla. “This is the place the mirror wants to be.”

This is so very much the episode of B5 I watched this morning, yes it is. This is a good thing.

Plei, you know what I really loved about that line, as Victor wrote it?

That for a moment, that sounded like lucidity. How totally true to Dru is that?

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Oh, good. Hope it's all worth the build-up when it's finished.

Made many little edits. Keeping "wading," for now, until I can go look it up, as I only have enough brain power left tonight to concentrate on the thing I'm being paid to write. (:

Oh good, cause I've never seen an episode of B5.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

As always, very nice Victor.

So totally.

Watch.

JMS is the master of continuity, and S3, which is where we are at in reruns on SciFi, is incredible. Plus he wrote Spider-Man: Coming Home, which is like, the bestest Spider-Man EVER.

Victor, consider yourself blessed that tonight, you've been the only thing standing between me and real darkness.

(Not firing you.)

I'm glad people are liking the Dru bits. I've feared writing her.

Huh. If I knew THAT was all it took to get you to visit...

Victor, consider yourself blessed that tonight, you've been the only thing standing between me and real darkness.

Cool. Usually, I get the complete opposite reaction. (:

Hee.

It's been a Job Hunt Night, you see.

And those are bad. Worse than bad, really.

Thanks for all the fish.

Victor, it's lovely. I really want to read it again, all pieced together.

And, you know, it would be 'waiting' out the tide, because it's a seafarthing thing - waiting for the tide so you can set sail.

Deena, yes, altering should be alerting. Thank you.

Up with the sun

Oh wow, Victor. I came into this story in the middle, and I'm already desperate to see what will happen next.

Connie, I like the way you're writing General!Xander.
