The proxy server suddenly died. I think it might have been scheduled and I'd forgotten. But I had to get out of there and go to dinner anyway, it being five and all. I was actually just about to type that into each of your windows, and then I looked up and it said "you've been disconnected." I was a little annoyed.
When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Connie, Angel is not gone for good -- he might only get as far as, say, a karaoke bar in L.A., before he's told to turn around. He only left because I could not see the character doing anything else after losing Buffy in that way -- I suppose he could have just hidden in the mansion until I felt like using him, but that's sort of dull.
Besides, an AU S2 without Spike and Dru is a poor, sad, thing.
