Insent back atcha.(edit: Deb.)
And Rebecca Lizard! We've been slashed, and not just by Deb. [link]
It's very strange: that must have been posted in the last few days, since you started writing.
Thank you, connie.
I used 'chit' because Spike hasn't, so far as I know, seen Cordelia for some years.
Thanks, amyth!
Deb, Am, thank you both so much for sharing. I love both of them.
I feel... rich.
Me too! Being slashed is fun.
Thanks, juliana.
Hmmmm. When I click the URL, I get a "not found" error.
Backsent to both. If Rebecca wants to upload it to my little site at Rliz, yes please.
I wanna share. Got a letter from my publisher this morning (Ruth Cavin at St. Martin's Press), letting me know that MoveOn was collecting signatures and is going to present them at a press conference today; at age 83, she's furious and still an activist. I mentioned that I have 30,000 words on the third book (she hasn't bought the second one yet, and I'm holding my breath), and got back the following:
If you are going to write as fast as you are writing, you are going to have to be content with my not getting to your book-of-the-week right away, as other things are crying "my turn! my turn!" Which doesn't mean that you shouldn't keep 'em coming. who am I to turn off the faucet when it spurts so beautifully.
I think that's a "preen" moment.
Raaaaaats.
That's actually turning into an intensely cool little series of vignettes.
Am, that's delightful interplay. It was a long held wish of mine that Spike would - for lack for a better phrase - grow a soul. By which I mean he could behave in a kind/loving/heroic/human fashion toward people - especially Dawn - without having a 'soul'. But this is good. The still Spike. Still evil. Even with a soul.
I liked that
Good!

Thank you! I think I shall continue them at some point.

That would have been a very interesting way for ME to take the story line, and it's one I like to see played with in fanfic.

It's drawing on my theories concerning the still-evilness of Angel, post-souling. And it's fun to do it to Spike, who's a little more self-aware than Angel (mostly!) and can see it.
Well, with Angel, we all know that it's the man that needs killing, not the monster. It's canon. And with Spike - really, William was not a bad man...
