It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

And received, you beautiful woman, you! As for cookies, I'm afraid I like my coffee drinkable. I (sad confession) don't even like coffee ice cream.

And now, I'm off to bed. Thanks Deb. Love you Ple!

Night, Deena. And thanks and smoochies to you both.

Hell of a day; finished the story and my husband was in a car accident. I suppose it can get weirder, I'm not going to ask if it can because I really don't tempt fates that way, but holy dead guy on a stick, it was purely strange enough.

And speaking of fannish things? I'm catering a staff party for a furry con in the East Bay this weekend.

Oh my.

No car accidents for us today. I failed to write, though.

Well, but Plei, you've been writing like a mad writey thing the past week or so.

You know, on reflection, there's nothing quite as peculiar as pounding away at the keyboard and having your phone ring with a request to not freak out, I'm perfectly fine, the car, well, that's a different story, yes, it may not be salvageable and yes I know we have six thousand dollars left to make in payments but yell at me later and could you just come rescue me, please, I'm at Golden Gate and Laguna.

Unless it's having the phone ring and having someone rather ominously ask if you could please make an appointment, at your earliest convenience, to talk to the womens' cancer specialist at your gyne's office. I've done that one, too.

edit: and me conking. Night all.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Deb, I can look at it too, with fresh eyes, if you want.

SA, you bet. You'll make five (Beverly and Roz Kaveny are also looking at it, along with Plei and Deena) so that makes five, a nice lucky number. Profile addy?

And lordy, do I love your current tagline.

Just noticed a continuity error myself, as a matter of fact. The demon she slays ought to be at Balliol, not Magdalen. I mentioned both within the space of two paragraphs. Sloppy.

Help from editors, it is so of the good. Sigh....

Sent.

I'm wondering, just glancing over it, if I oughtn't to go back to the last bit and add something about her using the music of the spheres. Because she experiences that the first day she ever walks into the Carolan, and that's what she'd be accessing with those four little bottles her dad left for her.

In fact, yes, I'm going to do that, but not until after I get thoughts and other edits.

Must check out Tomato Nation. That was extreme coffee spittage.
