Slashers For Sanity! I may need a button. Though the non-initiated would think I'm advocating nasty things with knives.
looks at posts
realises hasn't got time to read all of them
sees Elena's fic she promised to beta
looks at story she's writing
thinks about Hawkeye
decides to go on writing
I will be back, folks. It's just that with the brain-eatage, and the going out, and the writing, and blue eyes, and ...

It all comes back to GVSP Saved My Life.
I don't think I've ever snuffed anyone, so I'll just go with GVP Saved My Life.
Catching up, catching up....
I learned most of my language from books and have startled more than one person by using something archaic that I didn't know was archaic because it was Just Used in the book I read (sure, written in the 1700s, but I don't get your point).
Ye gods, I love you Deena. I still often do the exact same thing.
Deb, I'm liking the Amanda story quite a lot. How much of yourself are putting in her? I can't remember if I asked that when I first read "Pensioner".
connie, you're breaking my heart here. Then again, the very concept of V!Giles breaks my heart, but I keep coming back for more....
You too, Elena. And it is a good explanation for Willow's actions at the beginning of S6.

very happy with myself in the role of pusher
and ye gods I love Juliana! Hmm, now, how to tell Greg... (He probably already knows. I show him your picture whenever I'm trying to explain an effective hairstyle on a beautiful woman).
Elena, one thing I was wondering was, how long does rigor mortis last? I thought just a few hours, so she would bend when they were putting the dress on, and then Giles does bend her arms over her body when he puts her in the coffin.
As for the rest, it made me terribly sad, which means it was effective. I'm getting tired of my use of (terribly, really, very) all the whatsises (not qualifiers, superlatives?), but, you know, extremely effective.
I also finally get, I think, your obsession over Willow never SAYING she knows she did wrong to scrub her lover's brain. Sometimes it's not enough to for someone to behave as if they know they did lots of wrong, sometimes you just have to hear it. This could be my mother issues raising their head again, though. My mother would, sometimes, change course in an attempt to improve, but the actual wrongdoing disappeared in a la la la la I can't hear you way.
I'm still not so functional today, though better than yesterday. I keep wanting to apologize to Lyra Jane just. one. more. time. which probably means I really ought to go to bed, but I wanted to come read Elena's fic since she posted t needy
It amazes me how so many incredible, beautiful, creative, talented people can feel needy. It makes me wonder why I'm not even more than I am, because, I'm not faring so well in the comparison stakes today.
Wonderfully subtle and powerful, Elena. One teeny--you mention Buffy was bothered by bills, among other things. Was she? Before resurrection, I mean?
Deb, you know how I feel about Amanda. I'm so glad you've decided to do more about her. And Giles, Sr. Brrrr. D'ye suppose the elder Mr. Wyndam-Price was a crony? They sound much of a type.

You're quite right, actually, rigor starts a few hours after death, lasts for x hours and then they loosen up again... Without looking up the actual timing, I think maybe I'll just have Anya say that it's hard getting Buffy's arms in the sleeves without saying that she's stiff.
