I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

or a cut to sports fans viewing and expressing their disgust in insulting fashion.

Sports fans? Members of the Bears and Colts, appallingly enough.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Allyson, GLAAD isn't so much protesting the ad as it aired during the superbowl (I saw it and wasn't offended either) as the different endings that were (briefly) on the website, which included the men reacting to their Lady and the Tramp-style kiss with violence against each other, or a cut to sports fans viewing and expressing their disgust in insulting fashion.

This I did not know. Huh.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just don't think the players reacted any differently than the way I've seen gay men react to pussy.

EWWWWWWWWWW

Like that.

I'm not so sure it's about homophobia as much as it is about guys = dumb and eternally 8 years old.

Again, maybe it's the Axe ads where women writhe against a shower pipe and stuff. It just made me want to smell that stuff so I can avoid writhing against any guy wearing it.

Or send a thank you letter to the manufacturer for created eu de moron, because it prevents having to engage to find out.

I see the reactions of the players and think, "dumbass."

I see the guys beating each other to "prove" straightness and think, "dumbass."

Though, fairly, I know that I'm seeing it all through my unhomophobic blue stater lens.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I missed two episodes of CSI and didn't realise, I guess I don't like it so much. However, I'm still catching up. Sometimes TV is a hobby, and sometimes it's a compulsion.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm sitting here watching Studio 60, and I don't even care enough to be annoyed. I hear you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yup. I'm still watching CSI and Studio 60 and I have no idea why. I managed to get rid of my season pass to Dirt when I couldn't think of any reason why I wanted to see the next one. So, improvement, of a sort.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I think I'm going to start watching CSI because of my boyfriend Liev. But it's not easy to do.

OK, it was all worth it to see the first seconds of last night's late news: TOP STORY: IT'S COLD.

I shit you not.

I likes me some Dirt, though. Two weeks in a row we've gotten to the 1:02 (whatEV) end and thought "We're done? Already?"

Oh, god, it's not art. Hell, I only started watching it because a friend is in it--two eps done, and two to come. And then it became a guilty pleasure.

Man, I wish The Marine hadn't sponsored both CSI eps I've watched today. Seen the trailer way too many times.

I thought Dirt was gonna be a guilty pleasure, but it just didn't suck me in. Which is a relief, really, I watch way too much TV.

With CSI opposite Scrubs and Grey's and Supernatural, I have to catch it On Demand, and the way my cable box and various recording devices are set up I have to do that when nothing is being recorded, and that is getting to be quite the chore. So it's not so much that I don't want to watch it anymore, it just takes more effort for the same payoff giving me the perception of declining returns.
